Thank you for visiting the new location of the SHOTMAN Basketball Camps. We have hard to improve our looks and content to give you the best possible experience and image of our camps. Here you will find the Shotman Tip of the Month where the basketball guru gives you tips on improving your game from both a mental and physical approach. This will give you an idea of his approach to the game of basketball. August's Tip: Can't Practice Outside? Trying Doing It Inside. Summer is usually a time of year where kids are outside playing in all kinds of games not just basketball. However, this summer has not been kind in terms of the weather. If you live in the Northeast, it has been the rain while in much of the West, it has been the brutal heat. Well, there is still a way to get your basketball in. It may not be shooting at a net, or playing a game, but there are lots of ball handling drills that you can try while watching television, playing video games, or listening to your favorite CDs. Ball handling drills are very important, especially if you plan to be a guard. So don't let the weather influence how you approach your game.
